Welcome to my Jungle

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

Welcome to my Jungle, originally uploaded by Luba Muzichenko.

Well… We’ve been in our new home a couple of months now and today I’m sitting around, working and inhaling fumes from the floor guys. They’re repairing a scratch in my floor and the smell of the varnish is rather dizzying.

Meanwhile – I’m thinking about my next home improvement project – my backyard! Right now, it’s a jungle. But it’s a tiny jungle. At 19 feet by 20 feet, it’s the size of a large postage stamp. But it still has potential.

And once we figure out how to best make use of the space, I’ll keep you posted on the progress with occasional photos.

Just don’t expect it to be anytime soon since I’m busy helping clients buy and sell San Francisco real estate and finding free time is tough.

Looking up at Houses

Looking up at Houses, originally uploaded by Luba Muzichenko.

I’m out and about today looking at properties on the market for my clients. Here’s a picture I snapped looking North from Kite Hill.

No matter where you go in San Francisco, you can expect to catch a glimpse of a great view.

Moving Soon…

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008

Stay tuned!  This random photo blog has become a bigger hit than I imagined.  (I use the word “hit” loosely!)

Soon – this blog will be moving to www.sfcameraphone.com where I’ll have some more flexibility with the blog platform.  Otherwise, the random crappy photos will still be the same.

I’ll post an official notice here once it’s been moved.

Stay tuned!

Fundraiser for the YMCA, originally uploaded by Luba Muzichenko.

It’s fun to laugh for the YMCA!

This is my friend Lara – laughing it up at the fundraiser at the Punchline benefitting the Richmond District YMCA.

If you missed it – contact me to find out how to give them money!!!

Someone Likes Pink

Someone Likes Pink, originally uploaded by Luba Muzichenko.

Seen on Market Street in Eureka Valley….

Not sure if the colors will come out since the pic was shot with my crappy camera phone – but this rider has a pink scooter, a pink jacket and a pink helmet. I’m guessing it’s safe to say they like pink.

Earth Day Clean up at Ocean Beach

Email me for more info if you can’t read it on the photo of the flyer!

The Aftermath of a Warm Day on Ocean Beach

Monday, April 14th, 2008

This is the garbage that actually made it to the trash can after a warm day at Ocean Beach.

Unfortunately, a ton of trash was also left on the beach and is strewn along Great Highway and the parking lots between Fulton and Lincoln.

I also saw several people using the bushes along Great Highway as urinals.

I don’t go to your neighborhood and litter and pee all over it – I’d appreciate if you didn’t do that in my neighborhood.

Maybe next time you come to enjoy the beach, you can try to leave it like you found it – pretty, clean and free of human urine.

Thanks for listening.

The Golden Gate Bridge seen from Marina Blvd

Yet another photo shot with my crappy camera phone while driving.

Cable Car on Powell and Clay

Monday, April 14th, 2008

One more shot for your enjoyment – the Cable Car – a San Francisco treat! :-) (ok – I know that was Rice-a-Roni – but even we locals love our Cable Cars!)

Looking up Powell Street

Monday, April 14th, 2008

Looking up Powell Street, originally uploaded by Luba Muzichenko.

My car is my mobile office. When you help people buy and sell San Francisco real estate, that just sort of happens. So you might notice a lot of shots taken from my car.

This one is looking up Powell Street at Union Square. I’m on the way to pick up a client to look at some condos today.

Amazing how I can hit “send” while I’m in my car (pulled over for safety of course) and this post will magically be on the internet in seconds.

Hope you’re enjoying the sunshine!
