Is it an Octopus?
Wednesday, May 28th, 2008
I know it’s got more than 8 legs, but I’m guessing it’s supposed to be an octopus?
It’s part of the wall art at the Sea Bisquit Café on Noriega. I swung by to get my caffeine fix.
A little mobile photo blog shot in and around San Francisco with the crappy camera of a Treo 700wx.

So I’m trying this new twitter thing. I’m late joining the band wagon, but figured I’d give it a go. Will see if I can get blog updates to post there automatically…..
I love when I stumble on an absolute gem completely by accident. I was at Bay Truck on Geneva getting my truck’s camper shell adjusted - and happened to stumble on the 7 Mile House on Bayshore. YUM!
Tons of good food, drinks galore and friendly service to boot!
And if you’re like me and love local history - the place was established in 1853. A “mile house” was a stage coach stop where coaches stopped to exchange and rest their horses. The names were based on how many miles away they were located from the downtown terminus. The 7 Mile House was one of the coach stops along the way from the Embarcadero in SF to San Jose.
Hope you enjoyed the brief history lesson and hope you’re enjoying the sunshine! The weather is frickin awesome!!!
And while I’m plugging stuff that I’m doing, I may as well plug www.thecityupdate.com, which is the sign-up site for The City Update - The Best San Francisco Real Estate Newsletter Ever!
The first test edition should be coming out in the next few weeks, with the official launch starting on May 30th.
Sign up if you want to learn more about what’s happening in the San Francisco Real Estate Market.
It is still a work in progress - but my latest creation - www.theavenuesblog.com is slowly coming to life! There are still lots of kinks to work out, but soon, I should be posting regularly there with info about San Francisco’s Sunset and Richmond Districts.
Here’s my boyfriend giving one of our dogs some love on the train. Ain’t that cute?!?!
The Redwoods at Roaring Camp Railroads, originally uploaded by Luba Muzichenko.Sometimes “sfcameraphone” leaves San Francisco and goes on an adventure.
Today - we took a trip with the dogs to Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton.
It’s chilly out here today - but it sure is purdy! And the dogs got to ride on the train!
