7 Mile House
I love when I stumble on an absolute gem completely by accident. I was at Bay Truck on Geneva getting my truck’s camper shell adjusted - and happened to stumble on the 7 Mile House on Bayshore. YUM!
Tons of good food, drinks galore and friendly service to boot!
And if you’re like me and love local history - the place was established in 1853. A “mile house” was a stage coach stop where coaches stopped to exchange and rest their horses. The names were based on how many miles away they were located from the downtown terminus. The 7 Mile House was one of the coach stops along the way from the Embarcadero in SF to San Jose.
Hope you enjoyed the brief history lesson and hope you’re enjoying the sunshine! The weather is frickin awesome!!!
