Not Giving Up on You
Dear Ficus,
I know you were full and lush when I brought you home. And I know I didn’t know how to take care of you at first. You lost all your leaves and I spent many days trying to nurse you back to health. But now I know that less is more. When I let you be, you grow and flourish. I know you’re not back to your original glory yet, but I wanted you to know that I’m not giving up on you, and while you may not be pretty now, I know you’ll be beautiful again someday and I’m willing to wait. Ficus, I have faith in you.
